This notice explains how FanBudi handles personal information in the web MVP. It describes the product as currently implemented; FanBudi will update it before adding materially different data uses.
Information we collect
- Account and profile data, including email, date of birth, display name, bio, avatar, verification state, sports, teams, and Nations.
- Community activity, including posts, images, reactions, comments, follows, athlete-room messages, reports, moderation records, game-chat messages, cheer selections, and simulated bet records.
- Service and security information supplied by our hosting and identity providers, such as request, device, authentication, and error records.
- Information submitted in an athlete application or copyright notice.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts and personalized sports features, publish content you choose to share, operate game and athlete rooms, send service messages, review safety and legal reports, prevent abuse, support users, maintain the Service, and comply with law.
How information is shared
Public profiles and community content are visible to other users as described in the product. FanBudi uses service providers for hosting, database and identity services, email, realtime delivery, and sports data. Those providers process information for their contracted service. FanBudi may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction. The MVP does not sell personal information or use advertising cookies.
Retention
Information is kept only as needed for the purposes above. Final Game rooms are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Downloadable privacy exports expire after one hour. Completed account-deletion audit records and resolved copyright notices are retained for three years. Other data is deleted or anonymized when an account is deleted unless retention is required for security, legal, or dispute purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile and notification settings, download a portable JSON copy of your account data, and delete your account from Account Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing. Use the contact information published at fanbudi.comfor requests that are not available in-product.
Children
FanBudi is not directed to children under 13 and blocks account creation when the submitted date of birth shows the person is under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact FanBudi.
Browser storage and security
The current MVP uses essential local and session storage for sign-in and user choices. See the storage notice. FanBudi applies access controls and other safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date.
